about:config the new Windows registry?
I was scrolling in the about:config of my Firefox install and I noticed quite a lot entries of old add-ons that removed. Why aren’t these settings removed from about:config? It just felt the Windows registry which can contain a lot of humbug keys of old software of installation things. Is Firefox’ about:config its successor?

On an almost daily basis I create flowcharts and other proces related things in Visio. Since it is such a big part of my live ( ;)) I was wondering if there was an Linux / Ubuntu alternative for Visio. Off course there is, even two alternatives: Dia (Gnome based) Kivio (KDE based)
Wine op Ubuntu
Gewoon omdat het leuk is om ook IE aan de praat te hebben op Ubuntu is hier een goede how to om wine aan de praat te krijgen op Ubuntu. Het aantal fictieve Windows reboots vond ik wel schokkend, dat was ik alweer een tijdje niet meer gewend tijdens installeren.
