Convenience comes out of the cost of examination

It is easy to take the convenient route, whether it is figurative or literal. If you take a convenient route to your destination, you may be sacrificing the opportunity to explore a more scenic or exciting route.

Convenience is not just about missing out on something more beautiful than usual. It can also be avoiding something horrible and taking a detour not to face it.

Hurdles

It is interesting to me that the word “hurdle” means, for many people, something that is hindering them from progressing. While for a group of athletes, it is a core element of their event, and their job is to get over hurdles as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Obstacles are an opportunity to improve your condition. If you do not do anything, they will remain there. Of course, you try to remove the hurdle. However, what if you work with the hurdle as the athletes do?

Do not choose convenience

At least not in the short run. Since you might unconsciously choose to ignore some of your options and opportunities.

Easy choices, hard life. Hard choices, easy life.

Whenever you face adversity, do not take a detour or stop in front of it. Examine it, explore it, and see what you can do with it. Consider embracing it and making it part of your journey. It will not be easy, but will easy get you to your destination?
