One Day at a Time—Even on Christmas

One Day at a Time—Even on Christmas

Many of you reading this newsletter celebrate Christmas, a holiday traditionally filled with joy, family, and rest. You might be wondering why I’m still sending it. After all, shouldn’t today be a break from everything, including work? While I fully believe in the importance of rest, there’s something I value even more—consistency.

Consistency is the quiet architect of greatness. It’s the force that turns small actions into monumental achievements. Greatness doesn’t appear overnight; it’s built through intentional, steady effort over time. That’s why, even on Christmas Day, I’m here—I believe that keeping a rhythm, even when it’s burdensome or inconvenient, is how we unlock our highest potential.

The Power of Consistency

Think about it: some of the most successful people—whether athletes, artists, or entrepreneurs—didn’t get to where they are by showing up only when it was easy. They habitually showed up every day, regardless of the circumstances. Whether it was a holiday, a rainy day, or a day full of distractions, they maintained their course. That’s the power of consistency.

I’m not sending this newsletter today because I expect you to hustle through your holiday—quite the opposite. I want you to embrace today’s celebration while understanding that the commitment you build, day after day, creates a foundation for excellence in your life. You don’t have to sprint every day, but you do need to show up consistently if you want to reach greatness.

So, as you sip your hot cocoa and enjoy time with loved ones, remember that every little step you take, every commitment you honour, builds something far more significant than the task at hand. Today, I’m celebrating my commitment to you and myself because greatness isn’t just about the big wins. It’s about the steady steps that lead us there.

Merry Christmas, and here’s to building greatness, one consistent step at a time.
